He is not just Damion Larkin Comedian but Damion Larkin Phenomenon. Only kidding! This bit is normally written in the third person so it seems like its been written by someone else. This means all the comedian's achievements sound brilliant without him or her sounding big headed. I dismiss convention, not because I want to seem modest but because I have nothing to boast about. My comedy CV used to say "Comedy genius is an over used term and Damion Larkin is not a comedy genius. However, he really is very good indeed. Excellent as an act, he is also a crowd-rousing compere, frequently and hilariously improvising his entire set." But now I prefer to say…I can do the job. It also used to say "There are no genuine comparisons to this man. He is a versatile and creative comedian who always leaves audiences wanting more." This was before I visited Ilkeston. And Sheffield. And Fife. And Penzance. Although to be fair, the audiences in these places have been left wanting more. More humour.
