Kevin Sheedy is an Irish former professional footballer best known for his time at Everton, where he played as a midfielder from 1982 to 1992. Renowned for his pinpoint accuracy and deadly left foot, Sheedy was a key player in Everton’s most successful period, helping the team win two First Division titles, an FA Cup, and a European Cup Winners' Cup. He also earned 46 caps for the Republic of Ireland, representing his country at both the 1988 European Championship and the 1990 World Cup. After retiring, Sheedy moved into coaching, including a role in Everton’s youth academy, where he mentored future stars.
