Sarah Armstrong is a self-taught artist and mum of three. The main focus of her work is female form nudes. Sarah uses her practice to combat the rise of use of filters and editing apps, reminding women that their body is beautiful exactly how it is. Aiming to provide representation to as many women as possible, she hopes that her work can show the next generation of young girls that they don’t have to change themselves to be lovable, while giving those of us who have grown up with diet culture at its height, a chance to heal the relationship with our bodies and learn to love what we’ve got.
